We currently hold the status of being one of City Hospitals Sunderland preferred approved contractors for all types and values of construction works up to a value of £750,000 and resultantly maintain an almost continuous presence at their City Centre Sunderland Royal Hospital site undertaking competitively tendered and open book negotiated works up to the aforementioned value. The extent of works that we have therefore carried out over our trading history for City Hospitals Sunderland is therefore far to extensive to list, a select list of examples is therefore very briefly noted below :-

Contracting division

- Contracting division expands their operational area by successfully securing a nursery refurbishment in Bradford.

Read More – Following our proven success tendering for and undertaking works in the North East of England our contracting division has recently began to pursue opportunities outside of our traditional operational geographical area and have resultantly secured the £156,000 refurbishment of Midland Road Nursery in Bradford which is to be undertaken within the forthcoming school holiday period under the guidance of our clients lead designer’s Beaumont Brown Architects. We are looking forward to overcoming the additional challenges that we will encounter carrying out fast track works outside of our traditional operational area and are confident that our site team will manage the works with the usual levels of enthusiasm, efficiency and quality that are displayed on all of the works that we undertake.

Maintenance Division

- Maintenance and small works division celebrate the successful completion of their first year as an approved contractor for one of the country’s leading claims management firms, Property Consortium UK Ltd.

Read More – Our maintenance and small works division achieved approved contractor status for Property Consortium UK Ltd little over a year ago and are currently hold the position of their preferred primary contractor to carry out both reactive and planned insured repair and remedial works within the Sunderland, Durham, Teesside, Gateshead and Newcastle postcode areas. This status has enabled us to undertake over 200 projects within this initial 12 month period ranging in value from £200 to £40,000 throughout the North East Region and more recently the borders and South Edinburgh areas of Scotland where we greatly assisted Property Consortium and their clients in making good the significant damage caused by the winter storms that hit the region hard during the early part of 2012.

Contractor Status

- Slayco secure approved contractor status for a second leading claims management company, Cunningham Lindsay

Read More – Following in the footsteps of the successful relationship that we now enjoy with Property Consortium we have now secured approved contractor status with Cunningham Lindsay and have recently completed the internal refurbishment of a water damaged property at High Shincliffe in Co Durham for their large loss department. The works were secured via competitive tender and were subsequently undertaken efficiently and competently to the satisfaction of all concerned.
